Barryland is getting a facelift to offer you a unique experience. From the summer of 2025, the famous Great Saint Bernard dogs will be back at the totally revamped Theme Park.

Due to the renovation work to the existing building, the museum and the Café de Barry are temporarily closed.

We can’t wait to welcome you to our new Theme Park, which will offer you an unforgettable experience and brand new activities for young and old.

Quand une intuition devient réalité

Avec ses deux Saint-Bernard, Lynn et Apollo, elle ne passe jamais inaperçue ! À la Fondation Barry, Marianne Borling incarne depuis 2020 un des visages très engagés dans les interventions sociales assistées par les chiens. Elle intervient chaque semaine en psychiatrie adulte et gériatrique à la PUK Zurich, ainsi qu’en pédopsychiatrie à la Brüschhalde de Männedorf. Marianne visite également une fois par mois un EMS à Uster et, tous les deux mois, un centre pour seniors à Dübendorf. Un travail où l’animal devient souvent le déclencheur d’un dialogue assez improbable au départ.

Les chiens ne parlent pas, mais ils savent écouter. Depuis 2017, la Fondation Barry forme des binômes humain-chien pour intervenir auprès de personnes ayant des besoins spécifiques. Lio gave birth to two Saint-Bernard puppies

On May 14, 2025, “Lio du Grand St. Bernard”, gave birth to two puppies: a male and a female. Both are doing well, as is their mother. Their first names will begin with the letter “X”.

The Barry Foundation appoints a new director

The Board of Foundation has appointed Mélanie Glassey-Roth as the new Director of the Barry Foundation. She will take up her new post on September 10, 2024, taking over from President Jean-Maurice Tornay, who has also been Director since 2019.
