Our puppies

Around twenty puppies with an SCS pedigree (Swiss Canine Society), recognised by the FCI (International Canine Federation), are born on average every year at the Barry Foundation. Some of them stay at the foundation, but most of the puppies are given a new home once they reach the age of 10 weeks.

Every new adoption request is carefully examined to ensure that the necessary conditions for owning a St. Bernard dog are met.

In particular, it is essential for future owners to have plenty of time available to take care of their St. Bernard correctly and to provide sufficient outdoor space for it to run around freely. Initial experience with dogs is strongly recommended for future owners.

A St. Bernard puppy from the Barry Foundation costs CHF 2,600.
