Third charity evening in Zurich
More than 160 people had the chance to enjoy an entertaining charity evening with some brilliant Saint Bernard-themed touches – including photos of memorable Saint Bernard moments to welcome guests to the event, the opportunity to meet and stroke our dogs during the drinks reception and some canine performances on the stage. With the help of empathetic handler Leah Flückiger, our Saint Bernards put on a fantastic show. Nina Havel, who hosted the event, guided guests through the evening with great charm and skill, while musician Marie-Louise Werth and her band wowed the audience with their exceptional talent.
Our special education teacher Claudia Müller offered some insights into her work, which proved to be one of the highlights of the event. Some guests were invited onto the stage to gain some first-hand experience in how our social dogs are used and what impact they have on people. None of them left the stage without a smile on their face.
The delicious food from the kitchen of the Schützenhaus Albisgütli was also an all-round hit, and many delighted winners claimed prizes from the charity tombola and the auction.
Our sincere thanks go to everyone who made this event possible, and to all those people who came along to it.
However, as they say, pictures are worth more than a thousand words, so here are a few snapshots from the charity event in Zurich.
