Homer-Barry is now in the paradise of dogs.
Homer-Barry was born on 25 May 2005. His mother was Tenia du Grand St. Bernard, his father Xeno v.d. Grafschaft. He comes from the first two litters born during the Barry Foundation era.
As the oldest male in our pack, Homer-Barry bears the name of his famous ancestor. He symbolically represents the centuries-old tradition of the hospice dogs.
In July 2008, the founder and former managing director of the Barry Foundation, Ruedi Thomann, covered the entire journey from Lake Thun to the Great Saint Bernard pass on foot in 8 days accompanied by Barry.
The short-haired male, was sensitive, quiet and well sociable. The whole Barry-Family will miss him very much!
